How to Upload Music to AutoDJ

Your AutoDJ needs access to compatible audio files before it can play music automatically.

Prepare Your Music

Use audio files in a format supported by your station's AutoDJ configuration. MP3 is commonly used for Internet radio.

Upload the Files

Use the media/file management area of Centova Cast to upload music into the appropriate media directory.

Organize Your Music

Create folders or playlists that make it easier to organize your station's programming.

Update the Media Library

If your Centova Cast configuration requires a media-library update or rescan after uploading files, perform that operation before expecting the new files to appear in playlists.

Test the Files

Play a newly uploaded file through AutoDJ and confirm that it produces audio normally.
