MP3 is a widely supported format for Internet radio and is a practical choice for AutoDJ music libraries.
WMA
WMA support depends on the AutoDJ software and installed codecs. Do not assume that every Centova Cast AutoDJ configuration can play WMA files reliably.
WMV
WMV is primarily a video container/format and should not be treated as a standard music format for AutoDJ. Use an audio format supported by your AutoDJ configuration instead.
WAV
WAV files are typically uncompressed and can consume considerably more storage and processing bandwidth than compressed formats such as MP3.
Best Practice
For a broadly compatible music library, use properly encoded MP3 files at the bitrate appropriate for your station.
