Why Is not My Scheduled AutoDJ Playlist Starting?

Troubleshoot an AutoDJ playlist or scheduled event that exists in Centova Cast but does not begin playing when expected.

Confirm AutoDJ Is Running

A scheduled playlist cannot play if the AutoDJ service itself is stopped. First verify the station is online and AutoDJ is running.

Check the Playlist Configuration

Confirm the playlist is enabled and contains playable media. A playlist with no valid tracks cannot produce scheduled playback.

Check the Schedule

Review the start time, days, and any date restrictions. Make sure the schedule uses the expected time zone and that the current date falls within the configured schedule.

Check Playlist Priority or Conflicts

If more than one playlist or scheduled event is active, review their priorities and rules. Another active playlist may be taking precedence over the one you expected to hear.

Refresh the Music Library

If tracks were recently uploaded, make sure the media library has been rescanned. See How to Rescan Your AutoDJ Music Library.

Need More Help?

If AutoDJ is running but scheduled programming still does not behave as expected, contact digiSTREAM Support with the playlist name and the schedule you configured.
