Mixxx
Mixxx Connects but There Is No Audio
Mixxx shows a successful broadcast connection, but listeners receive silence or the stream appears silent.
Check Mixxx's Master Output
Play a known-good track and watch the master meters. If the master meters do not move, the problem is inside Mixxx's audio path rather than the SHOUTcast connection.
Check the Deck and Channel Levels
- Confirm a track is actually playing.
- Check channel faders.
- Check the crossfader position.
- Check the master level.
- Make sure the deck is not muted.
Check the Broadcast Status
If Mixxx is connected but the server receives silence, first establish whether Mixxx's master output contains audio. This separates an audio-routing problem from a streaming problem.
Avoid Extreme Gain
Do not solve a silent stream by pushing every gain control to maximum. Correct the source or routing problem first.
