LadioCast Connected but Silent (Mac)

Check LadioCast mixer routing when the encoder connects but listeners hear no sound.

Trace the signal

  1. Play a test sound through the device or app you intend to broadcast.
  2. Verify LadioCast input meters show the signal.
  3. Verify the input is routed to the encoder/output bus rather than only a monitor output.
  4. Confirm the stream is started and the correct destination is selected.

Check macOS audio permissions and routing

If audio is missing from an application source, inspect your audio routing setup. A virtual audio device may be required to send app audio to LadioCast. Avoid selecting an unused microphone or muted input.

Listen externally

Open the public listener URL from a separate device. If LadioCast meters show audio and the source remains connected but listeners hear silence, provide digiSTREAM support with the encoder port and your test results.
