SAM Broadcaster Error 11004 — Connection Failed / No Data

What It Means

SAM was unable to obtain the expected connection information/data.

Possible Causes

  • The computer has no Internet connection.

  • DNS or network connectivity is failing.

How to Troubleshoot

  1. Check Internet access.
  2. Check Ethernet/Wi-Fi connectivity.
  3. Verify the server hostname or IP address.
  4. Verify the streaming port.
  5. Retry the connection.
  6. If other Internet services work but SAM still reports 11004, provide the exact message and server details to your hosting provider.
Important:

Change one setting at a time whenever possible. This makes it much easier to determine what corrected the problem.
