SAM Broadcaster Error 600 — Requested Song Offline

Error 600 means the requested song is offline and cannot be played.

What It Means

The requested media item is not currently available to SAM's request system.

Error: SAM Broadcaster Error 600

Possible Causes

  • The requested song is unavailable.
  • The media item is offline.
  • The requested item is not currently accessible to the request system.

How to Troubleshoot

  1. Verify that the requested song exists and is available.
  2. Check the media/library configuration.
  3. If the song should be available, verify that the library/database is functioning correctly.
  4. Try another available song to determine whether the problem is limited to one title.
  5. If multiple valid songs report the same problem, investigate the request/library configuration.
Important:

Change one setting at a time whenever possible. This makes it much easier to determine what corrected the problem.

Additional Notes

This is a request/media availability problem, not normally a SHOUTcast connection problem.
